トランプ米国大統領とスウェーデンの対立が注目されています。
これまでの経緯は以下のとおりです。
スウェーデン政府はきちんと事実で対応しています。事実なしのトランプ演説には全く説得力がありません。しかし、それでも多くの米国人がトランプさんを支持しているのは信じられないことです。
トランプ大統領 vs スウェーデンの対立を日本と比較してみると興味深いです。
トランプ大統領はメキシコ、中国とともに日本を貿易赤字の三大相手国とし、”米国の輸出をさせない”日本などと批判してきました。日本は米国に巨額の直接投資をし、米国人に多くの雇用を生み出しています。その日本をメキシコ、中国と一緒に扱うなど、常識が疑われます。
しかし、日本はスウェーデンのようにきちんと反論はしていません。
トランプ大統領は就任演説で "America First" と米国第一主義を宣言しました。
アメリカ第一主義は、利他性の反対。利己性の経済学です。
利己性の経済学、保護主義が持続可能でないことは自明でしょう。
日本もスウェーデンやEUなどと組み、きちんと正論を掲げ、トランプ大統領とも議論していくべき、と痛切に感じます。

Take a look at what's happening in Germany. Take a look at what's happened in France. Take a look at Nice and Paris.
